We’ve compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions about our Consulting Interview Coaching Services

How many cases should I schedule?

The reason that we offer a volume discount is that when you purchase multiple sessions, you gain exposure to cases across multiple industries (e.g., telecoms, retail, mining), problem types (e.g., quant, creativity, graph analysis), business areas (e.g., revenue growth, mergers, operational efficiency), and interviewer personalities (assuming you select more than one coach). For that reason, we recommend you book at least 3-5 sessions to set a solid baseline of your capabilities.

My interview is in 2 days. Do you have availability in such a short time-frame?

We offer flexible hours that allow for interview prep whether it is 7am on a Saturday or 10pm on a Tuesday.

How is the virtual service provided?

We conduct our virtual sessions through Zoom.us. When you sign-up for a session, you’ll receive a link to your coach’s online Zoom room. Please note: if you plan to attend your session via mobile device, you’ll need to download the Zoom app.

What can I expect from the Trial Interview Session?

The 30-minute trial session serves to provide a sample of our coaching methodology. We will start by discussing your recruiting situation, after which we will conduct a ~20 minute interview, followed by a debrief on your performance and potential next steps.

What if I need to cancel or change my session last second?

Reschedulings and cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of your session. After this time, the session will be billed.

Do you tutor non-undergrads?

Yes! In fact, ~60% of our clients are either MBAs, working professionals, or non-business graduate students.

What if I don’t get an interview or am declined an offer while I still have sessions remaining?

In this case, we will refund you the full value of any remaining sessions that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of when the session was scheduled to take place.

Do you help clients with Technology or Human Capital consulting cases?

While all of our coaches worked in Strategy, the majority have experience collaborating with the Tech and HC practices of their firms. Moreover, general case skills are the same regardless of genre, including logical structuring, data / graphical analysis, delivery of insights, and interpersonal capabilities.

Do you provide coaching for non-consulting interviews?

Yes! Whether you’re preparing for a industry-specific case or a fit interview, we offer customized coaching to meet your needs.

Do you work with clients outside of the US?

Yes! Our team has trained candidates across 20+ countries by maintaining flexible work schedules and an international roster of coaches.
